Palac gore does not serve interests of any one political party, but defends and promotes principles of the rule of law, press freedom, and responsibility-based political culture
Who we are
Palac gore, an informal initiative of the Serbian diaspora in Belgium, supports students, activists, and civic actors championing democracy, human rights, media freedom, and robust institutions in Serbia. Through solidarity actions, creative expression, public dialogue, and transnational engagement, we build bridges between grassroots efforts and international communities.
Our values
Democracy
We believe in free, transparent, and just processes that enable each individual to actively participate in shared decision-making regarding societal topics. We believe in a free society based on dialogue, responsibility, and participatory rights.
Freedom
We respect the freedom of thought and expression, and the freedom to act, without which neither individual nor societal development are possible.
Human rights
In a society that nurtures solidarity, no individual should remain invisible. We therefore actively react at every instance of human rights violations, both in the country of origin or the host country.
Environmental responsibility
We are actively building awareness of environmental issues and follow sustainability principles in all our initiatives. We believe that caring for our planet goes hand in hand with promoting societal justice.
Solidarity
We build connections within the Serbian diaspora and between the diaspora and our country of origin, while caring for mutual responsibility, help, and co-existence. We extend a helping hand to all fellow countrymen in need.
Activism
We believe in the power of engaged citizens. We aim for societal transformation through education, art, social dialogue, and local initiatives.
Palac Gore Mision
We support the pursuit of democracy in Serbia through solidarity, creativity, and engaged activism from the diaspora. We stand with those building a democratic future in Serbia—through art, activism, and diasporic solidarity.
